EBC Attended the German-Chinese Entrepreneur Gathering of Bao’an District

The first German-Chinese Entrepreneur Gathering of Bao’an District arranged by BIDA was successfully held on the 23rd June. As a strategic partner of BIDA, European Buyers Council (EBC) was invited to this event, which improved and facilitated the communication among EBC, Bao’an government and entrepreneurs from China and Germany. In addition, it brought the cooperation between Chinese and German industries to a next level, creating more possibilities for cooperative partnership for both parties. 

    During the event, Ren Yao, the Bao’an district mayor demonstrated the economic situation and the achievement on investment attracting of Bao’an district. In 2016, the regional GDP of Bao’an district increased by 8.3% and reached 300.3 billion RMB, constituting 18.6% of the GDP of the whole Shenzhen city. It should be noted that, Bao’an district achieved continuous economic progress in the recent years, ranking one of the first potential districts for further investment in Shenzhen, which indicated that cooperative partnership between Chinese and European enterprises was more promising than ever before. 

    The representatives of EBC sincerely appreciated the leaders of Bao’an district and BIDA for holding such an event, and gave a brief introduction of the EBC’s business and economic situation in recent years. Since the foundation, EBC has been devoted to facilitating the communication and cooperation between Chinese and European associations or enterprises, striving to establish long-term partnership. For the past few years, by virtue of EBC’s abundant experience and resources in the European market, EBC has successfully helped Chinese enterprises of different industries enter European market. As a strategic partner of BIDA, EBC will offer full support to the cooperation and development between Chinese and German enterprises in Bao’an district, seeking for mutual progress and the actualization of win-win situation.  

       At the end of the event, the representatives of EBC and other German or Chinese entrepreneurs had a lively discussion on the potential and possibility of future cooperation. EBC hopes that further cooperation in different areas such as technology, projects, human resources, market can be achieved, in order to help more enterprises in Bao’an district to enter the European market.
