European Buyers Council Visited Jiangmen Government, Associations and Representative Enterprises

On the 8th of March, representatives of the European Buyers Council (EBC), Michael Schwegler and Mr. MuGe, visited Jiangmen International Chamber of Commerce and Jiangmen High-tech Zone Government.

    In the morning, EBC and Jiangmen International Chamber of Commerce held a meeting. As the official strategic partner of Jiangmen International Chamber of Commerce, EBC briefed the Chamber of Commerce on the progress of our cooperation with several well-known enterprises in Jiangmen City. Representatives of Jiangmen International Chamber of Commerce also briefed us on the recent state of Jiangmen major foreign trade enterprises and the direction of development in 2017. Through this discussion, EBC and Jiangmen International Chamber of Commerce have enhanced their understanding of each other's recent work, and further promoted the close cooperation between the two sides.

    Accompanied by the Jiangmen International Chamber of Commerce, EBC visited a famous enterprise in Jiangmen—Lvyuan Industrial Products Development Co., Ltd.. Lvyuan focused on garden products and household products export business. Since the establishment of nearly a decade, it has developed into a large-scale foreign trade enterprises. Lvyuan warmly greeted the representatives of EBC, and introduced the company's flagship product and the current market development situation overseas. 

    

    After visiting Jiangmen International Chamber of Commerce and Luyuan Company, EBC visited Jiangmen High-tech Zone government in the afternoon. The leaders of the Jiangmen Hi-tech Zone Economic and Technological Promotion Bureau (Bureau of Economic Affairs) received Mr. Schwegler and Mr. Mu. During the meeting, EBC first introduced their business scope in China, which focuses on sub-investment projects in several regions of the Pearl River Delta. EBC's goal is to promote exchanges and cooperation between different countries and regions, particularly China and European associations and organizations, and to promote long-term trade links. Subsequently, the leadership of the Bureau of Science and Technology introduced the advantages of Jiangmen National High-tech Zone and its economic development prospects. High-tech Zone is located near the Xijiang River, southeast Jiangmen. The park has convenient transportation in terms of sea, land and air. Furthermore, infrastructure and supporting facility are sufficient, making the park an ideal choice for investment. At present, the competitive industries of high-tech zones include LED green light source, electronic information, mechanical and electrical manufacturing, fine chemicals, bio-pharmaceuticals, modern logistics, among which photoelectric, electronic information and bio-pharmaceutical are the three major industries. EBC will clearly put Jiangmen High-tech Zone as a key area for future business expansion in China, and continuously strengthen cooperation with government enterprises.

    Subsequently, the leaders of the Bureau of Science and Technology Bureau and EBC visited the most representative enterprises in high-tech zones, including: Jianwei Human Furniture Co., Ltd., Bellston Electric Co., Ltd., Shuangshi Lighting Co., Ltd. and so on. The representatives of these enterprises exchanged name card with EBC and introduced themselves, hoping that through EBC’s purchaser resources in Europe, they further expand their market share in Europe. 
   This Jiangmen trip deepen the understanding among EBC, Jiangmen International Chamber of Commerce, Jiangmen High-tech Zone Government and the Jiangmen representative enterprises, which laid a solid foundation for EBC’s future business development in Jiangmen.
